Elon Musk REVEALS Tesla Bot (Full Presentation) The Ultimate Humanoid Robot

Would you ever own a robot? Or perhaps, would you ever own a robot that helps you complete day-to-day tasks and gives you more time on your hands? Of course, it sounds like it could make your life way easier. Luckily for you, Elon Musk has just announced the brand new Tesla Bot.

This Tesla bot that Tesla introduced at Tesla's AI Day event is a humanoid robot that will help you complete tasks on a daily basis and has the ability to do many more things. The human-like robot stands at a height of five feet and eight inches tall and weighs in at 125 pounds. The job of this robot is to complete dangerous, repetitive and boring tasks.

People do it on a regular day-to-day basis. Maybe you don't feel like throwing out the trash. Maybe you need a glass of water. Call your Tesla bot right now and it'll have it done. The Tesla bot maxes out at a speed of 5 miles per hour and has a surprising deadlift of 150 pounds. That's 2 pounds more than its body weight, so it's surprisingly strong for a robot that's there to help you. The arm extended lift for the robot is 10 pounds, which is pretty decent and can help with tasks better than others can.

The carrying capacity of the robot is 45 pounds, which can make tasks that involve carrying things much easier. Perhaps carrying groceries or even helping move heavy objects around your house. As I mentioned earlier, Musk stated, one of the main goals of the Tesla Bot was to eliminate dangerous and boring tasks from people's lives. Owning a Tesla Bot will make it way easier to control these tasks and get them out of your life, although it does take a job off your hands.

It would feel quite unusual if a robot was bringing me my glass of water or even restocking the fridge with past projects. Tesla has done so. It's no surprise that this project they have in place will become a reality. Elon Musk's other impressive projects consist of the popular EV vehicles from Tesla, SpaceX, and many more. What a genius Elon Musk is. I don't doubt that this bot will also have tons and tons of other features in the near future. We can expect it to become stronger and heavier, but knowing Elon Musk, he believes that AI being too strong can try to overtake its owner, so who knows if Elon will plan on doing that?

Now let's get to the technical part of the bot. It was mentioned that on the head of the bot there would be a screen that provides information to the person looking at the bot. The bot is made out of a somewhat light weight material and has hands similar to the way a human's hands would function. The biggest part about this bot is the AI features it consists of. The bot will consist of neural net planning and will also have a multicam video neural network. The bot will utilize all the tools that Tesla cars use to this day. Judging from the performance of Tesla cars, the tools surely have the capability of working on other projects. 

The Tesla bot could be available as early as 2022, which is sooner than you think. Now we get to the question, why is this bot even being made? This bot is being made because Musk believes Tesla is arguably one of the biggest robotics companies out there, so it was their job to make an actual helpful humanoid robot or else someone else would look at it. Elon introduced such a project is quite odd because Musk believes that A.I has the capability of taking over the world. Hence, the reason he is working on his other project, neural link.

He wants to develop this bot to be as safe as he can make it. This bot will have the ability to develop as much as it wants to as long as the team at Tesla works on it consistently and keeps it as safe as possible while keeping its purpose at all times, which is to complete dangerous, boring and repetitive tasks over time. I believe this bot will develop into something that will have a huge impact on the economy, especially with the future innovations Elon has in store for us. It'll be quite interesting to see what Tesla can do with such a slim and light figure. People will surely believe their skills in making this humanoid bot.

The best it could be is that companies like Boston Dynamics that are working on a similar project have achieved pretty impressive goals similar to the ones that Tesla has. It'll be quite a competitive run to see the differences between what some of these robots can do and what some can't do. People believe that it will take quite some time for Tesla to catch up with Boston dynamics, which could be true. Boston Dynamics has been working on this project for an extremely long time.
