How do you grow on Instagram? What is the new method that I have lined up? It allows you to grow with almost zero action blocks.
THE INSTAGRAM ALGORITHM
But before I go all in, we need to agree on a couple things. Growing on Instagram currently is incredibly difficult if you're doing it 100 percent organically. I mean, posting every day and then hoping that one of your posts blows up. If that's all you're doing, that's incredibly difficult. You need three to four thousand followers on Instagram to be able to blow up on Instagram. You need that boost. So the goal should be to drive as many people as possible to look at your Instagram account and convert those people who are looking to followers. And that's why it's really important that you have an account that looks really, really good on Instagram. It should look good and have some incredibly good and engaging content that makes people want to come back for more. If you have all of that, it'll be really easy to convert people looking at your account to people following your account. But why did I talk about the three to four thousand followers?
Because that seems like a pretty random number of followers to have or a specific number of followers to have, and the reason is that once you get to that three to four thousand follower range, that's usually where you're gonna start getting 500 to 1000 home impressions from your own followers, and if you can get those 500 to 1000 impressions from your followers for each post that you have, then you'll start to give the Instagram algorithm enough data to be able to judge. If that video is good or not, then put that video on the explore page. Well, once you get on the explore page, you're just gonna blow up, but the hardest part about getting to those three to four thousand followers where you're eventually gonna blow up is the fact that you're gonna be met with a lot of problems, or more like one problem, and that is the instagram action block. And we all know that if you collect enough action blocks, your account is just gonna get banned, or in Instagram's terms, disabled.
NEW GROWTH METHOD
So now we're here. What is this new growth method that has almost no action blocks? Well, I won't lie to you, I have never heard of this method before. So I actually don't know what it's called. One of my followers actually told me about it a couple of months ago and I've been trying to use it. It's worked quite well, but I'll try to give it a name: it's called the "DM FOLLOW for FOLLOW" strategy, and it's very similar to the "follow for follow" strategy, but it has a twist in that you don't have to get any action blocks from unfollowing people or following too many people.
HOW TO USE THE STRATEGY
Let me detail the strategy so that you guys can implement it right now. So let's get straight into this. Go into your niche and find an account that has 2000 to 3000 followers in your niche. Make sure that whatever account that is has a higher following than it does have followers. Because if they do have a higher following, then that means they do the follow for follow strategy, which is following people who are going to be interested in their accounts. And then if those people are interested in their account, they're probably going to be interested in your accounts. Now go to that account with 2000 to 3000 followers, go into their posts, look at who's liking their posts, and try and find a post that has the least amount of engagement. So if that account is averaging 2000 likes, try and find a post that has 1000 likes. The reason you need to find those kinds of accounts is because that is gonna be their core audience.
Those are the people that are liking and engaging with their content. Even if it's not that good and those are the people that you want engaging with your content. because those are the most devoted followers, and if they're devoted to that account, they're bound to be devoted to yours. This is where the strategy takes a little bit of a turn. You're gonna try and follow about 200 likers on that post and try to keep it exactly at 200 so that you stay below Instagram's 500 action per day limit. So you won't get an action block because staying under 500 actions per day is pretty easy and Instagram won't bat an eye. So is that it? Obviously no, the next part is the DM'ing part. This is where you DM about 50 to 100 accounts every day and you basically say, "Hey, if you like this type of content, then why not follow me back.
IMPORTANT THINGS
One thing that I like to say is that, for example, let's say you're in the car niche and you basically DM, "Hey, if you like super car content, then why not follow me back," but obviously have a ton of different Dms that you're gonna send. Also, don't be afraid to send a simple hey or hello and then, once they greet you back, you can explain why you're following them. which is just to get the follow back. Obviously, please do change your Dms because if you don't, Instagram will think you're spamming and they will block you if you're not careful. So please try to change your DMS every single time or every third DMS. Try to change it up.
But here is the thing: if you send people in the car niche a DM asking if they could follow your account, then they will most probably follow you and engage with your content. Because they already like your content now, the goal is to repeat this process up until you get to about three to four thousand followers, or more importantly, up until you get to about 500 to 1000 impressions from home, because at that point you'll start to rank on the explore page and you will not get action blocked because you're literally doing 250 to 300 actions per day. You could even cut out the entire follow-for-follow strategy and just go straight to the DMing part so that you can have your actions be even lower and the risk of an action block be even lower.
SOME TIPS
These are some tips to understand. If you're gonna go on with this method, you need to understand that Instagram is not a human being sitting down and just putting people on action blocks. You need to understand that Instagram is literally just an algorithm that's trying to find patterns in behaviour so that it can block you because it thinks that you are a spammy bot account. So you should just make sure to try and not seem like a spammy bot account and do things differently. So space out your DMs by two to three hours, maybe DM 25 people now, and then 55 people in and out three hours later, follow 50 people now and then follow 100 people. Five hours later, just try to look normal and not like a robot that has literally been programmed to work a certain way.
This method can get you a ton of followers, literally hundreds of followers per day. Because most people who get DM end up following back because they see no point in not following back. And as I've explained, by the time you get to three to four thousand followers, Instagram will be putting you on the explore page and you will be blowing up and getting tens of thousands of followers because you start ranking on explore and getting that organic instagram growth, and then once you get that organic instagram growth, it's only going to be a matter of days or a matter of weeks before you are blowing up exponentially. I'm talking about 20 to 20 to 30, even a hundred thousand followers in two and a half months.
